Problem There are respectively 3000 m3 and 1000 m3 of emergency pools used to store fracturing flowback fluid at the first combination station and the second combination station of Qian"an Oil Production Plant of Jilin Oilfield. Alongside the emergency pools, there are farmland and fish ponds. Since the fracturing flowback fluid is featuring by "high COD, high viscosity, and high stability", improper treatment can cause serious pollution to the surrounding environment, and therefore it is an urgent pollution problem need to be solved by the oilfield. The existing treatment process of the combination station is gravity settling + multi-stage filtration. By using the existing wastewater treatment process, this kind of wastewater cannot be efficiently destabilized and separated, and may causing filter plugging, high backwash frequency, and "paralyzed" state of the system. However, our Company adopts the combined process of "efficient flocculant" and "deep combination flotation" to process fracturing flowback fluid of the field emergency pools, and the treated fracturing flowback fluid can reach the standard to flow into the combination station of Jilin Oilfield.
